My Ramblings: I would first like to say that I understand Mattel marketing Barbie dolls in Eliza Doolittle costumes, but Ken as Professor Higgins? Puh-leeze. Ken was always a total weenie, anyways. (My male Barbie doll was Donny Osmond. My favorite game was "Plastic Mormon Doll Incest" with Marie..)
Leaving the issue of plastic dolls having sex behind, I've gone around for the last week singing "I Could Have Danced All Night" in my rather irritating way. That, and "Wouldn't It Be Loverly." Marni Nixon must have been quite a busy chica in the early 60's - singing for Audrey Hepburn here and for Natalie Wood in West Side Story. She's good, though.
Why isn't anyone disturbed by the fact that Freddie's a stalker? I mean he sings that he'd be perfectly content to spend his days standing out in front of Eliza's house, waiting.....watching....day after day....hoping to catch a glimpse of her...doesn't this concern anyone?
And, for what it's worth, the rain in Spain stays mainly in the mountains.
